The All India Law Entrance Test is conducted by the NLU (National Law University), Delhi for admission into the under graduate level law programme. B.A., LL.B (Honors) which is a five-year integrated programme. The total number of seats for this course is 80 out of which 10 seats are for foreign nationals.
FIVE-YEAR B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)
Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or equivalent Examination with 50 per cent of marks.
Age: Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2012 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates).
Total Seats: 80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have 65 per cent marks in the qualifying examination.
Reservation: 15 per cent for SC, 7.5 per cent for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note: One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants after approval from Governing Council of the University.
Eligibility: LL.B. or an equivalent Degree with 55 per cent marks (50 per cent in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, 2012 can also apply.
Total Seats: 20 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from Entrance Test.

AILET 2012 has 150 multiple choice questions for 150 marks. Duration of the exam would be 1.5 hours. The sections and the marks allotted to them are:
English: 35 Marks
GK: 35 Marks (Current Affairs, General Science, History, Geography, Economics, Civics)
Legal Aptitude: 35 Marks
Reasoning: 35 Marks
Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 10 Marks
